With that in mind, you want to juggle your axes while dropping as few as possible (to maximize the stacks you get for your passive) and to constantly look for trades once you get your Vamp Scepter. Because of this, a good enemy jungler will likely come and try to get an early kill on you with their bot lane. A Draven needs to be shut down as soon as he reaches 100 stacks, or even earlier if possible. Not many people pay attention to a Draven's stacks, which is a huge mistake. If you can not get an early kill, it is important to farm and rack up your passive stacks. Look to buy a BF Sword or a Vamp Scepter on an early recall. If not, you can get good trades off early just by catching axes and by activating Blood Rush(W) every time you catch an axe during a trade. As Draven, you want to get level 2 before your opponent, and then engage on them with your support, if you have something like a Thresh or Blitz who can hook and secure a level 2 kill. With a good support, Draven can snowball harder than almost any other champion in the game, which is why the jungler often tries to get the Draven on his team an early kill. There are two usual outcomes after picking Draven you win early, snowball and carry, or you fall behind and play from behind all game, usually leading to a loss.ĭraven has one of the strongest laning phases in the game. Draven is a take all or lose hard champion. Draven is the champ for you if you enjoy pressure and being the focal point of a team. When someone picks Draven in champ select, all eyes are on them. Draven is by far my favorite champion in the game.
